The Ecological Child
Bela Banathy – educational researcher and systems theorist - argued that, in our society, the real systemic thinkers are the four or five years children because they think and act in the totality of their experiences.
The child is a born explorer, a real scientist (a thinker, a better 'actor' systemic in fact), and the environment is the main source of his knowledge. But 'learning environment' needs to "move" in the environment, "do" with the environment. The child knows: when the body stand by, the mind stand by. When the body is moving, your mind live.
