Earth Charter
The Earth Charter ratifies a pact between the Earth and all its peoples. This is a unique document, starting from the very process from which it emerged.
The Earth Charter faces us with the sacred nature of our Home, the Earth. It reminds us of the challenges up ahead and tries to indicate possible ways to face them. It is not an “ecological” document, rather a call to ethical principles that might direct our actions dedicated to building a sustainable world.
